"Looking up" at the Earth.

Although this particular photo is familiar to you (it's the banner image on the home page of this website), it's the Earth from an angle which is not familiar to most of us - with the camera angle perpendicular to the South Pole instead of the Equator. I like being able to show the Earth in all her majesty from this angle, because it impresses upon the viewer who is really in charge and who really needs who.

Let's show our capacity for humility and respect and not take this for granted.
